The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services towards the community.
SASSA might be rendering solutions for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency explained it's alarmed about the large amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This really is as a result of sassa status check lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The provider position designed for intervention encounters a higher inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it difficult with the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra assets to allow the servicing of all sassa status check prospects and enhance access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
